DevOps and Test Engineer

Designed for use in both home and hospital settings, our viQtorsolution provides continuous monitoring of vital functions, fall detection, and activity tracking.

As a DevOps and Test Engineer at smartQare, you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining automated processes and workflows for all software developments and implementations. You are also responsible for test execution, test automation where possible and the overall test process. Your contributions will be essential in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and efficiency of our software development lifecycle, directly impacting patient care and medical services.

• Design, implement Infrastructure Management using infrastructure as code.
• Maintain the various CI/CD pipelines, using tools like Jenkins and GitLab.
• Containerization and Orchestration, Cloud Services Management.
• Testing, Automation and Scripting, documentation.
• Performance Tuning and Optimization. Monitoring and Logging with tools like Prometheus, Grafana and AWS Cloudwatch.
• Work closely with development and operations teams to ensure smooth and efficient software delivery and operations.

• Broad experience (4+ yrs) with various development and deployment tools. Be prepared to learn and evaluate tools.
• Experience as tester, test documentation and test automation.
• Proficiency with containerization tools like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
• Experience with AWS cloud technologies.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines such as Jenkins and GitLab.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage tasks from start to finish.
