Description

Are you an experienced System Administrator who thrives on challenges? Do you have a passion for maintaining and managing diverse systems? If so, we’re looking for you! As a System Administrator at Freetime Hospitality (VIPS PMS), you will take on a wide range of responsibilities. Additionally, you’ll have the opportunity to develop your skills in a dynamic environment.

Who Are We?

VIPS PMS, a subsidiary of the Freetime Group, is a rapidly growing, dynamic, international organization with a prominent role in the hospitality industry. We have offices in the Netherlands, Germany, and India.

VIPS PMS develops a cloud-based Property Management System (PMS) that simplifies hotel management for hoteliers, covering everything from reservations and invoicing to tracking housekeeping tasks. The company behind VIPS PMS, Freetime Hospitality, provides property management systems and facilitates point-of-sale systems and other essential tools for hotels.

What Will You Do?System Administration and Maintenance

• Manage and maintain various systems to ensure maximum availability and reliability.
• Administer Windows systems, including installation, configuration, and maintenance of Windows-related software and applications.
• Maintain diverse databases, including MsSQL and MySQL.

Monitoring and Incident Management

• Monitor systems, networks, and servers closely to identify and resolve issues promptly.
• Handle incident reports efficiently, providing quick and effective solutions to ensure continuity of business operations.
• Perform periodic on-call duties based on a schedule to address and resolve disruptions.

Asset and License Management

• Manage company assets by conducting inventories and ensuring optimal utilization.
• Oversee and distribute software licenses.

User Support and Specific Administration

• Provide support and clearly address IT-related queries to help colleagues resume their tasks as quickly as possible.
• Manage Office 365 environments, implement new features, and optimize existing configurations.
• Handle DNS configurations and process SSL certificate requests.

Project Support

• Assist in external projects to ensure the successful completion of IT initiatives.

What Do We Get From You?

• At least 3 years of experience in a role as a system administrator.
• Proficiency with networking and firewalls.
• Experience with privacy and security systems.
• Knowledge of hardware (PCs, servers, printers, WiFi) and both web-based and client-based applications.
• Familiarity with Microsoft environments and virtual environments (e.g., VMware).
• Strong written and spoken command of both Dutch and English.
• Ability to work accurately and methodically.
• A valid driver’s license.
• Flexibility and willingness to work at multiple locations across the country.
• Capable of working independently.
