About the team

The ICT department consists of 35 colleagues, primarily based in the Netherlands. The team is divided into the following pillars: APAC, Connected Sites & Workforce, Core Technology, Customer & Supplier Solutions, Data & Analytics, Finance & People & Culture, Security, Service Management, and Transportation Management. Our People, Finance & Field Solutions team consists of 4 colleagues who are responsible for all IT related solutions in the field of HR, Finance and all solutions we use in the field.

About the role

To support us in realizing our ambitions, we are seeking a hands-on and skilled IT Process & Project Manager – Finance & HR to strengthen our team. In your role as an IT Project Manager, you will be part of a team that supports a broad user community at Den Hartogh. Together with your most important stakeholders and team members, you will support the development of a vision and translate that into a roadmap. You will lead several IT initiatives in the Finance and ideally HR (People) domains, collaborate with other departments and teams, and support the business in providing creative solutions. Furthermore, you will participate actively in making sure the solutions run smoothly and be a helping hand in solving operational challenges (from a second-line perspective). You will work from both Rotterdam – Den Hartogh’s Head Quarters – and Barneveld – the location of our newly acquired Business Unit Liquid Food.

Your responsibilities

• Develop and enhance a vision together with stakeholders and the team, translate this into a roadmap, and ensure the execution of that roadmap;
• Manage projects from ideation until implementation;
• Work collaboratively across relevant departments of the company and partner with Business leaders, IT, business process owners, external partners, and other stakeholders to achieve project goals and process improvements;
• Prepare progress reports and present regular status updates to stakeholders and the Steering Committee;
• Manage key-user organization; lead meetings;
• Engage key-users and gather improvement ideas;
• Provide second-line support and solve operational challenges.

About you

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, an understanding of HR and Finance processes, and experience in successfully delivering IT projects in these domains.

• Bachelor's / Master's degree and proven expertise in delivering IT projects in the domains of HR and finance;
• Ability to think conceptually, strong analytical mindset, problem-solving skills, and being the link between Business and IT;
• Having a high sense of responsibility with a hands-on and proactive mentality, including an ability to take initiative and work with minimum supervision;
• Strong and positive personality with excellent stakeholder management skills;
• The ability to convince, motivate, build consensus, and make decisions in a multi-cultural environment;
• Fluency in Writing and Language: Dutch, English;
• Experience in/with Exact and/or Workday is a pre.
