Your goal

As our new Business Controller you are stationed at the finance team in Amsterdam and from there you are responsible for the FP&A processes including performance management, business partnering, treasury activities and strategic business development.

Ideally you have the drive, experience and mindset to help us grow further. As our Business Controller you will be working closely with different international stakeholders and the business in general. You will work closely with your colleagues in the Finance team and CFO.

Your responsibilities

• You develop the performance management framework including metrics, targets and KPI dashboard in cooperation with the business.
• You develop the budgeting and forecasting process while aligning the process with the CFO and Regional Partners.
• You will review the consolidated budget based on performance to date and make amendments through the forecast process.
• You will produce and provide consolidated commentary to the management reports for the CFO and provide insight in the metrics and performance of the company.
• You will lead key financial analysis to ensure that key business decisions are aligned with overall objectives, goals and metrics.
• You are the linking pin between finance and business and work close to the countries to understand the key drivers of the business.
• You will perform the strategy development for treasury activities including Cash Management, Cash forecasting and reporting and Risk Management.

Your profile

• Master’s degree in Business Economics. RC title is preferred;
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a role as controller in an international environment;
• You have experience with the managing of costs, risks, revenues and profits. You also have knowledge of financial regulations and policies;
• Affinity and a deep knowledge of all aspects of controlling;
• You possess a pragmatic, energetic and enthusiastic personality;
• Fluent in English and Dutch (other languages are welcome);
• Open to working from our office Amsterdam.
