Creative Copywriter Amsterdam

At Meijer + Walters we're looking for a Creative Copywriter to join our team.

To strengthen our position as a creative strategy agency, we're looking for a copywriter who not only understands strategy and business objectives, but also knows how to use creative work to connect them to different audiences. This role needs a self-starter who can own the stories our clients want to tell and connect brands and their audiences effectively. That entails crafting narratives that go further than just advertising, bringing creative concepts to life with concrete, well-researched and well-written content.

1. Write engaging copy that aligns with our clients’ objectives and resonates with target audiences
2. Base your work on background research about our clients, their industry and their customers
3. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including strategists, designers, and account managers
4. Develop messaging strategies that include brand identity and drive engagement across multiple channels
5. Continuously refine and iterate on copy based on feedback and performance metrics
6. Stay on top of industry trends and emerging technologies to infuse innovative ideas into your writing

1. 3+ years of experience as a copywriter, preferably in an agency setting
2. Proficiency in English, with outstanding written and verbal communication skills. Dutch is a plus.
3. Strong conceptual thinking and storytelling abilities, with a keen eye for detail
4. Ability to present your own work and support your creative choices
5. Ability to thrive in a collaborative environment
6. High affinity with technology and science – show us your inner nerd
7. Available for full-time position and able (work permit!) to work with us in our lovely office in Amsterdam
8. Being a good team player, open to giving and receiving feedback
