You and your job
As a Data Steward IAM, you combine a vision on and practical experience with master data management and business instinct. You make a difference in ensuring and improving the data quality within IAM by developing and maintaining relationships with different stakeholders. The Data Steward is responsible for the daily execution of the operational processes in relation to Data Management within IAM. This includes a responsibility for maintaining and implementing the Data Management Framework standards within IAM and the translation of information needs, ranging from data consumers to data suppliers.
You work, together with your Data Steward colleagues, within the new Area IAM Data & Insights. This Area is responsible for providing IAM data and creating relevant actionable insights to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of our user journeys and to show IAM is in control. The Data Management Framework is not implemented yet, so there is a great challenge ahead of us.
Top 3 responsibilities
- Monitor the process progress of the implementation of bank-wide data management 'Norms & Forms' and provide stakeholders with timely, accurate communication about this progress;
- Determine, together with stakeholders, what requirements should be set for (meta)data (quality) and where and how to implement these requirements;
- Give presentations to increase the knowledge of data management within our Tribe IAM.
You and your talent
- Bachelor degree with 3-5 years of experience in Data (Quality) Management (processes) or Master degree with 2-3 years of experience in Data (Quality) Management (processes)
- Experience with working with Data Management tools such as Collibra
- Knowledge of IAM processes is an advantage
- Strong communicator and skilled in stakeholder management
- Strong communication skills in English, both spoken and written
- Strong analytical and conceptual skills (databases, data warehouses and SQL)
- Ability to present solutions and provide clear documentation of all steps
- Eager and fast learner, team player, and global mindset
- Integrity to work with sensitive data

- A salary between € 3711 and € 6130 gross per month (scale 8 or 9) depending on your background and experience.
