This role leads and manages a multi-skilled maintenance team in a food manufacturing environment, ensuring efficient preventive and corrective maintenance operations. The position focuses on safety, reliability, cost control, and minimizing downtime through structured planning and SAP PM. It drives team development, performance, and continuous improvement initiatives such as Lean and TPM.
Responsibilities- Lead and manage the maintenance team, ensuring high performance, safety, and effective daily operations.
- Plan, coordinate, and oversee preventive and corrective maintenance to minimize downtime and ensure equipment reliability.
- Manage maintenance planning and reporting in SAP PM, including KPIs, budgets, and performance tracking.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives (TPM, Lean, RCA) to optimize maintenance processes and reduce failures.
- Ensure compliance with Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality regulations, including work permits, LOTOTO, and safe work practices.
- Bachelor’s degree (HBO or equivalent) in Engineering or a technical field (Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial preferred).
- 5–8 years of experience in maintenance within a manufacturing or food processing environment, with hands-on exposure to preventive and corrective maintenance.
- Proven leadership and people management experience, including team supervision, coaching, performance management, and workforce planning.
- Strong knowledge of maintenance systems and processes, including SAP PM, TPM, Lean, RCA, and reliability-centered maintenance.
- Fluent in English (Dutch preferred), with strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
