👩💻 Your impact

As Senior Project Manager, you will take ownership of some of ViCentra’s most critical product development projects; including hardware, software, and consumables components, as well as preparation for market introduction. You will be responsible for driving these projects from early planning and scoping through development, decision making, and delivery.

Working in a multidisciplinary environment, you will coordinate teams across R&D, manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and marketing to ensure that plans, resources, and priorities are aligned. You will bring structure to complex topics, keep teams focused on agreed objectives, and manage timelines, risks, and scope throughout the project lifecycle.

Your work will strengthen how we execute projects as an organization. Improving clarity, decision making, and cross-functional collaboration. And because your projects directly contribute to the next generation of our medical device, you’ll see the real-world impact of your work reflected in products that genuinely improve the lives of people living with diabetes.

In this role, you will:

• Lead end-to-end product development projects: from initial scoping and project charter creation through to development, verification, transfer to production, and market introduction.

• Define and maintain project scope: ensuring alignment with all relevant stakeholders across R&D, quality, manufacturing, supply chain, marketing and regulatory.

• Build and manage detailed project plans: using a waterfall approach, including timelines, milestones, dependencies, and deliverables.

• Develop and monitor project budgets, resource plans, and progress against key baselines (scope, schedule, cost).

• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams: ensuring that stakeholders remain aligned, informed, and supported throughout the project lifecycle.

• Identify, track, and mitigate project risks: and escalate issues when needed to safeguard delivery.

• Facilitate structured decisionmaking: especially in areas involving scope clarification, tradeoffs, or competing priorities.

• Report project status: providing clear updates, scenarios, and recommendations to leadership. Weekly

• Drive continuous improvement: within the PMO by refining tools, templates, and processes based on project learnings.

• 10+ years of professional experience, including 7+ years managing multidisciplinary project teams.

• Experience in project management involving hardware and ideally software as well.

• Experience working in a medical device company or other highly regulated industry.

• Proven experience managing product development projects, ideally through to market introduction.

• (Strongly preferred) working knowledge of ISO 13485, 21 CFR Part 820, and related project documentation requirements.

• Demonstrated experience in project proposal creation, scheduling, budgeting, and risk management.

• Fluency in written and spoken English.
