Senior Electrical Engineer (Power Systems)

As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will lead the design and development of complex shipboard power systems, with a focus on BESS. You ensure high-quality, compliant designs while mentoring junior engineers and guiding the team.

Your responsibilities:

• Lead electrical design for shipboard power and BESS systems
• Deliver technically sound and timely designs
• Ensure compliance with project specs and international regulations
• Perform calculations, simulations, and analyses for power systems
• Provide BESS expertise and innovative energy solutions
• Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and clients
• Mentor junior engineers and promote best practices

• 5+ years’ experience in shipboard power systems and BESS
• Strong knowledge of marine power generation, distribution, and control
• Experienced in BESS design, integration, and commissioning
• Familiar with marine regulations and classification society rules
• Skilled in ETAP, AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN; Matlab/Simulink a plus
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken
• Proactive, results-driven, and able to handle multiple priorities
