As a Business Consultant, you will make an impact by leading large-scale banking transformation engagements and driving successful product implementations from discovery to go-live. You will be a valued member of our ISG Practice, working closely with clients, product vendors, and internal teams to deliver innovative solutions and ensure business alignment.
In this role, you will- Direct and manage 3–5 end-to-end implementations from discovery through go-live.
- Lead functional consulting for mortgage, retail, corporate, or private banking transformation projects.
- Conduct Process-Led Workshops (PLW) with clients and vendors to define requirements and solutions.
- Configure requirements within platforms and ensure fulfillment at a granular level.
- Drive Gap-Fit analysis and facilitate adopt vs. Adapt discussions with business and IT stakeholders.
- Review and approve key deliverables such as BRDs, functional specifications, and interface design documents.
- Act as the interface between product vendors, customers, and stakeholders to close product gaps.
- Collaborate with integration, testing, design, and development teams; coordinate UAT with banks.
- Apply knowledge of SaaS integration concepts (Microservices, containerization, API management).
- Support compliance with audit findings and institutionalize knowledge management processes.
- Define and develop services around platforms, including accelerators and POVs; disseminate competency across geographies.
- Assist sales teams in solutioning and delivery of RFXs; lead business development activities.
- Manage employee satisfaction, performance, development, and retention across multiple accounts.
Onsite/Offshore – This role requires flexibility to work from client or Cognizant offices and offshore locations. We strive to provide flexibility wherever possible and support a healthy work-life balance through various wellbeing programs.
What you need to have to be considered- 11–16+ years of experience in banking transformation engagements.
- Proven track record of managing multiple implementations from discovery to go-live.
- Expertise in Dutch mortgage processes and platforms (e.g., Ohpen, Slater) is an advantage.
- Strong experience in PLW facilitation and requirement configuration within platforms.
- Ability to influence stakeholders on solution design and implementation strategies.
- Hands-on experience with integration concepts in SaaS environments.
- Familiarity with Waterfall and Agile methodologies (including ceremonies).
- Knowledge of Dutch language is a strong advantage.
- Education: Engineering Graduate / MBA / Professional Degree / Postgraduate.
- CSPO/CSM/PMP certification will be an added advantage.
- Experience in managing teams of 10–20 members across multiple accounts.
- Exposure to microservices architecture and API-driven integrations.
