As a Site Support Engineer, you will make an impact by ensuring smooth, high‑quality IT support operations for our clients. You will be a valued member of the Infrastructure Services team and work collaboratively with transition leads, field engineers, service managers, and customer stakeholders.
In this role, you will:- Support EUC Field Service transition activities and contribute to ongoing service improvement.
- Participate in knowledge gathering and documentation during customer onboarding or incumbent handover phases.
- Analyze service requirements including SLA performance, asset availability, call volumes, and site criticality.
- Handle customer‑initiated tickets and service requests across EUC and Field Services.
- Troubleshoot Windows 11 and macOS devices, system access issues, and user‑level incident scenarios.
- Prepare, configure, and deploy devices for onsite and remote employees, including logistics coordination.
- Work with Active Directory, Azure AD, and O365 environments.
- Use ServiceNow; knowledge of print management and Nexthink is a plus.
This is an onsite position requiring presence at the client location in Eindhoven. Cognizant supports wellbeing and work‑life balance across all working models.
What you need to have to be considered- Strong understanding of EUC infrastructure: desktops, laptops, printers, handhelds, mobile devices.
- Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Windows, macOS, and Office productivity tools.
- Familiarity with ITIL processes: Incident, Problem, Configuration, IMAC, Break‑Fix, and Service Requests.
- Proven experience troubleshooting end‑user hardware, software, and access issues.
- Practical experience with AD, Azure AD, and O365 tools.
- Effective communication skills in English; European language skills are a plus.
- Experience with ServiceNow, print management environments, or Nexthink.
- Prior work in enterprise Field Services or EUC operations.
- Strong documentation and knowledge‑transfer skills.
- Customer‑focused, proactive attitude with strong ownership in issue resolution.
