Role Description
As Team Lead Maintenance, you lead a team of maintenance and breakdown technicians and a work planner, overseeing all planned, daily, and preventive maintenance activities as well as continuous improvement initiatives for production lines and installations. You are responsible for managing the 24/5 breakdown service to ensure maximum equipment availability and output, while collaborating closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure slicing, grating, and packaging lines operate efficiently and reliably.
Responsibilities- Lead, coach, and coordinate a team of maintenance and breakdown technicians and a work planner
- Ensure execution of planned and preventive maintenance on production lines and installations
- Manage daily maintenance activities and continuous improvement initiatives
- Oversee the 24/5 breakdown service to maximize equipment uptime and production output
- Analyze failures, set priorities, and implement structural improvements
- Collaborate with internal and external departments to optimize machine performance
- Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and maintenance standards
- Completed technical education at HBO (Bachelor's) level
- 5-10 years of relevant experience in a maintenance or technical leadership role
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to prioritize effectively
- Continuous improvement mindset and result-driven approach
- Quality-focused, stress-resistant, and able to perform in a dynamic environment
