Job DescriptionWe are seeking a Facilities Maintenance Engineer to join our client's team in Leiden. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing maintenance projects and ensuring the smooth operation of technical systems within the facility.
Responsibilities- Managing and completing maintenance projects related to building systems and equipment.
- Conducting inspections to identify potential issues and plan preventative maintenance.
- Troubleshooting technical problems and coordinating repairs.
- Ensuring compliance with safety standards and procedures.
- Liaising with external contractors and service providers as needed.
- Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities and project progress.
- Proven experience in facilities or maintenance engineering.
- Strong technical knowledge of building systems and equipment.
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
