Modern Workplace & Azure Engineer is a versatile, hands‑on professional responsible for implementing, managing, and optimizing Microsoft 365 and endpoint solutions while ensuring Azure governance and cost optimization in close collaboration with our outsourcing partner.
Key Responsibilities- Configure, manage, and support Microsoft platforms such as Intune and SharePoint; familiarity with Power Apps is a plus.
- Act as a technical liaison with our outsourcing partner, helping to resolve issues and align on improvements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues on the Microsoft platforms, acting as a third line support for the Service Desk.
- Support continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to simplify, automate, or enhance IT solutions.
- Monitor and optimize Azure costs by maintaining dashboards, alerts, and implementing rightsizing and reserved instance strategies.
- Ensure cost governance and planning through enforcing tagging standards, supporting budgeting, and collaborating on spend forecasts.
- Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field.
- Microsoft Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate (MD‑102).
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ‑104).
- Preferred: Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals (AZ‑900).
- 5+ years of experience managing Microsoft 365 environments and endpoint management using Intune.
- Strong expertise in device compliance, configuration policies, and application deployment for Windows endpoints.
- Solid knowledge of Azure AD for identity and access management, including conditional access and security best practices.
- Proficiency in automation and scripting (PowerShell) for Intune and endpoint configuration.
- Experience with SharePoint administration; familiarity with Power Apps for business process automation is a plus.
- Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with organizational goals and industry best practices.
- Manage the purchasing process for IT, equipment, and services required for daily operations and project execution.
- Assess and manage insurance needs and ensure appropriate coverage.
- Oversee fleet management activities, including vehicle acquisition, maintenance, fueling, and disposal.
- Coordinate facility management activities, including lease agreements, maintenance contracts, and space utilization.
- Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing agreements with suppliers/vendors to achieve cost savings and value‑added benefits.
- Monitor supplier/vendor performance and relationships to ensure adherence to contractual obligations and service level agreements.
- Prepare reports, analyses, and presentations to communicate procurement metrics, cost savings, and performance indicators to senior management.
- Develop a strong understanding of the business and develop relationships with key stakeholders (internal and external).
- Bachelor's or master’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field. HBO.
- Proven experience in procurement.
- Strong knowledge of procurement processes, contract management, and supplier/vendor relations.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in procurement software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite. \
- Education and certification in procurement is a plus.
- Fluent in Dutch and English, with strong drafting and communication skills.
- Accurate and result‑oriented.
