Manager Electrical, Instrumentation & Automation Fulltime based in Amsterdam\Main purpose of the job:The Manager Electrical, Instrumentation & Automation is responsible for safe, reliable, cost‑effective management, planning and execution of maintenance activities for all electrical, instrumentation and automation systems, ensuring uninterrupted production processes in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
About the job- Develop and implement preventive and corrective maintenance plans for EIA installations
- Coordinate fault analysis and implement long‑term solutions (root cause analysis)
- Lead the maintenance team, including capacity planning, coaching, and skills development
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards (ATEX, NEN, IEC)
- Manage SECE according to Seveso standard (Hazop, LOPA, LOD)
- Optimise maintenance processesCM, or predictive maintenance strategies
- Manage maintenance budgets and monitor costs
- Evaluate and select external maintenance contractors and suppliers
- Document all maintenance activities in a Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
- Advise on replacement investments and modernisation of equipment and systems
- Willingness to participate in on‑call duty and work outside regular office hours when required

- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Automation, or equivalent
- Minimum of 5–8 years’ maintenance experience in an industrial environment
- Practical knowledge of PLC/DCS systems, instrumentation, high‑ and low‑voltage installations
- Experience with maintenance strategies (TPM, RCM, condition‑based monitoring)
- Proficiency with CMMS systems (e.g. SAP PM, Maximo)
- Strong problem‑solving and planning skills
- Good communication skills in both English and Dutch
