What are you going to do as Lead Control Engineer?

As the control lead in complex Space and Semiconductor projects you are responsible for leading a team of 2-3 dynamics & control specialists and engineers and act as the point-of-contact for the control discipline within a mechatronic project.

Qualifications

Are you someone with:

• A MSc in Mechanical Engineering (PhD preferred), specialized in control
• 5+ years’ experience in control engineering and mechatronic systems
• A strong background in high-performance motion control and dynamic system behavior
• Experience with dynamic modeling (lumped-mass and FEM) and system identification
• A solid understanding of feedback control and frequency-domain analysis (Bode, Nyquist, PSD)
• An ability to relate control performance to mechanical system dynamics and disturbances
• Experience leading or coordinating control activities within complex projects
• Comfortable taking responsibility for planning, progress, costs, and results
• Able to translate system requirements into control concepts and back
• Hands-on enough to dive into technical work when needed
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset
• Comfortable working with multidisciplinary teams, suppliers, partners, and customers
• Proactive, curious, and creative; comfortable with uncertainty and innovation
• Honest, transparent, and motivating as a technical lead

You will be working for our customer, TNO, at the Optomechatronics department in Delft.
