What you do
In this position, you serve as the USOPCW Delegation Driver. USOPCW is the U.S. Delegation to the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons. You ensure smooth transportation to and from visiting sites, schedule arrival times and locations with the point of contact at visiting sites all in accordance with Diplomatic Security guidelines. You are responsible for the vehicles assigned to USOPCW, and make sure they are in working condition and are kept clean. You also serve as the back-up to the USOPCW Ambassador driver and as VIP driver when USOPCW is visited by high level visitors, working closely with security staff.
What we ask (minimal requirements to apply)
· A minimum of two years of experience as a chauffeur or two years of experience as a driver in commercial or public transportation, or similar background is required.
· Completion of secondary school is required.
· Speaking/Reading/Writing level III (good working knowledge) English and level III (good working knowledge) Dutch is required. (This may be tested.)
· Must possess a valid driver’s license Class B. Must be 25 years of age or older, and must have had a driver's license for a minimum of five years. Must pass a medical exam in order to qualify for the position.
· Position requires some overtime on evenings and weekends, including occasional overnight travel. Flexibility to make early starts/late finishes is required.
All applicants under consideration will be required to pass security certification and may be required to obtain a Certificate of Conduct for Natural Persons (VOG) from the Ministry of Safety and Justice of the Netherlands.
What we offer
· Annual salary of EUR 40,688 – EUR 52,887
· 8.33 % End of year bonus (13th month)
· 8.2% Holiday bonus

· One-year contract which will be renewed under the same conditions based on job performance, funding, and security clearance.
