Role Description

The Senior SQL Database Administrator and Developer role at CellSens is a full-time, on-site position based in The Hague. Responsibilities include designing and managing databases, ensuring data replication, and implementing best practices for optimal database architecture. The candidate will troubleshoot database issues, optimize performance, and ensure secure and efficient data handling processes. Additionally, the role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams and contributing to innovative projects in network technology.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Database Administration and experience with managing complex database systems.
• Strong knowledge in Database Design principles.
• Problem-solving skills with a focus on Troubleshooting and resolving database issues.
• Familiarity with a variety of Databases, tools, and technologies.
• Excellent analytical skills and ability to optimize database performance and ensure data integrity.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• Relevant certifications such as Microsoft SQL Server
• Experience collaborating with diverse teams and managing complex projects effectively.
• Pro-actively improve processes
• Good understanding of large scale ETL processes
• Proficient in setting up a reference database design and use versioning. Database Change Management.
• Database security configuration
• Database tables/views/sp designs and development together with application engineers
• Design/Develop custom SQL monitoring solution
• Data engineering and AI algorithm skills are a plus.
• Enjoy working in a small team with high flexibility in terms of working hours.
