As a member of the Sales & Marketing team, you will support and coordinate promotional activities across the Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) region. Your role will focus on strengthening our client's brand awareness and perception while supporting regional sales initiatives. The Events Manager will report directly to the VP of Marketing, EMEA.
Main Tasks & Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver high-profile, C-level customer events, as well as manage the company's and leadership team's participation in trade shows, exhibitions, and conferences.
- Oversee the inventory of promotional materials, including supplier coordination and the creative development of new items.
- Manage sponsorship initiatives and trade organization membership processes.
- Research, analyze, and recommend initiatives to strengthen brand awareness in the region, with a clear focus on supporting sales growth.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams, appointed agencies, suppliers, and vendors to ensure projects are executed in line with strategic plans.
- Coordinate and support the regional sales and marketing team's presence on social media platforms.
- Ensure full compliance with anti-corruption, ethics, and regulatory policies, as well as related administrative processes, across all marketing activities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in B2B event management or coordination.
- Proactive, hands-on team player with a creative mindset, strong initiative, and resilience in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Fluent in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills; Dutch and/or Portuguese is an advantage.
- Demonstrated experience delivering B2B events, hospitality activities, exhibition stands, and sponsorship initiatives.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multicultural and dynamic environment.
- Solid project management skills, including managing multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining budget and process control.
- Well-organized with effective administrative skills and strong attention to detail.
- Flexible, adaptable, and comfortable with change.
- Available for regular monthly travel, which may occasionally be intensive.
- Experience with creative tools (e.g. Illustrator, Photoshop) is an advantage.
- Competitive Salary per month between €4.000 - €5800 depending on experience and industry sector
- You will start with a temporary contract through Undutchables with the intention to transition into a contract directly with our client thereafter.
