As a Director in PwC's business Unit Consulting you will be part of a rapidly growing practice. You play an important role in expanding existing client relationships and developing new client relationships. You are partly responsible for expanding the team and contribute significantly to the profitable growth of the practice.
In this role, you work in the Managed Services team and focus on clients with their managed services needs across the board. Together with multidisciplinary teams, you solve complex transformation, regulatory and technology issues for clients, ensure proper implementation of laws and regulations, and respond to the accelerated shift in consumer demand and increasing competition.
What will you be doing?
As a director of Managed Services, you will lead a team of problem solvers with diverse backgrounds on every assignment to help resolve complex issues and challenges for clients in various sectors. You will actively be part of this team yourself;
Collaboration is the key to success. Collaboration with other competencies within the Consulting team, such as People & Organization, Data Analytics, and Operations and Risk. But also collaboration with other parts of PwC such as the Deals practice and the actuaries. You are part of a broad international network and have access to all available knowledge to undertake yourself;
You will be jointly responsible for building the Managed Services domain. You actively contribute to the sales process. This includes acquiring projects and strengthening and expanding relationships with clients;
You will lead multiple projects and actively build multidisciplinary teams of passionate and skilled advisors as an entrepreneur;
You know how to translate strategy and project management into execution: 'from strategy to execution'.
Does this describe you?
The successful candidate is strongly driven to further expand and grow the practice. The ideal candidate:
Has relevant experience (>10 years)in a professional services firm or a notable industry player delivering managed services;
Has delivered end to end managed services covering design, implementation and operations, and is able to lead client conversations on these phases;
Has experience with tech architecture and is aware of what is happening in the field of functionality, interfaces, data, and infrastructure as well as managed services and outsourcing operations;
Has experience with the implementation of technological solutions and is well able to further develop existing alliances and fulfill the role of business transformation partner at PwC's clients;
Is excellent at bridging the gap between technology and business, as well as hands-on experience with improving IT architecture and implementing technology;
Has knowledge of data strategy, data architecture, and data management is desired, as well as knowledge and solid experience in the field of operating model transformation;
Has ample experience in identifying and winning commercial opportunities.
