Job Summary
The transportation, logistics, and the trailer industry is undergoing a transformation that will last for several years. This is a unique opportunity to become a part of a new TIP Group venture whereby you’ll be shaping solutions to address the seismic changes in the industry; with the shared goal of electrification and digitization of logistics fleets and workshops across Europe/at-scale. You’ll be a part of an enterprising and newly built team with an opportunity to set and define a new culture and ways of working with team members with both, corporate and startup backgrounds. Your mission is to be a critical part of the product team by being a key stakeholder in the software development lifecycle as a QA Engineer and Release.
In this role, you will be in the lead and responsible for writing and executing testing scenarios, logging issues/bugs, and act as a release manager for deployment across applications. You will be a key stakeholder in helping in moving along the backlog and being a trusted advisor when incepting new features.

Key Accountabilities
- Test Planning and Execution: Develop detailed test plans and test cases for OutSystems applications. Execute tests manually and using automated tools to ensure the application's functionality and performance align with the requirements.
- Defect Tracking: Identify, document, and track bugs and issues within the applications. Work closely with developers to ensure that defects are resolved and retested.
- Performance Testing: Conduct performance testing to ensure that applications run smoothly. Monitor application behavior and gather metrics to assess performance and scalability.
- User Experience Testing: Evaluate the usability and user interface of OutSystems applications to ensure they are intuitive and user-friendly. Provide feedback to the development team on potential improvements.
- Regression Testing: Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved or new functionality is released to ensure existing features are not affected by the latest changes.
- Quality Assurance Reports: Generate detailed reports on testing activities, including problems identified, actions taken, and recommendations for future improvements.
- 3rd party integrations/dependencies: Writing test scripts for 3rd party integrations and implementations.
Qualifications
- Required Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- Required Experience: 6+ years of experience in software testing, with at least 3+ experience in testing using OutSystems applications.
Technical Skills
- Strong understanding of the OutSystems platform. ODC is a plus
- Experience with automated testing tools and methodologies.
- Proficiency in performance testing and bug tracking software.
- Data Savy – SQL and/or Python proficiency is an advantage
