Linux Engineer

Would you like to participate in large (cloud) migrations of our international customers? Triple is seeking a Linux Engineer to strengthen our team!

As a Linux engineer, you play a crucial role in our operations. You are genuinely interested in understanding how systems operate and how they are utilized. Your responsibilities include managing server environments for our diverse range of Triple customers, both large and small. This involves setting up new customer environments, enhancing existing ones, and creating scripts to automate server functions.

You work in the Technology Operations department alongside 40 colleagues. Your daily responsibilities include processing support tickets and resolving malfunctions. It is important to ensure that the platforms we build are as resilient as possible, as they can also experience downtime. Understanding how our platforms work is crucial in providing proper support to our customers. At Triple, we aim to impress our customers with exceptional service. The team manages storage services, and you will also be part of this team. Luckily, all colleagues take turns covering storage shifts, so you will have a storage shift every six weeks.

The TechOps (Technology Operations) department includes about 40 engineers and plays a vital role at Triple. We value broad Linux engineering knowledge. Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, Google Cloud, or AWS is important. You should have a vision for technological evolution and be open to discussions and new ideas. • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
• A few years of experience as a Linux Engineer
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure or AWS)
• Experience with configuration and automation
• Experience with security, cluster environments, and containers
• Affinity with cloud platforms
• Participation in 24/7 on-call services
• Work from our Alkmaar office, with the option to work from home one day per week
