Responsibilities- You will be involved in obtaining suitable offers during the tender and execution phases of the project, including raw materials, semi-finished products, and contracting for production and/or assembly.
- You will manage and control the procurement process, including strategic sourcing, supplier evaluation, and selection.
- You will manage vendor qualification, negotiate, and contract with suppliers and subcontractors, and handle non-conformities and potential claims.
- You will support the further development of the procurement order process and contract administration.
- You will initiate Supplier Performance Management to improve operational supplier performance.
- Supplier Relationship Management: manage supplier risks, develop suppliers, conduct supplier audits, and coordinate supplier or part/component qualifications.
- You will manage projects or processes, work independently with limited supervision, coach and assess the work of professionals from SCM or other stakeholders.
- You will apply continuous improvement processes.
- Develop and improve a strategic supplier portfolio based on various commodities.
- Engage closely with our European SCM hub.
- Work closely with functions such as engineering, HSE, QA, and Project Management.
- Minimum 5 years of work experience in supply chain and/or project procurement.
- A Senior Professional applies proven knowledge in the field, typically through education or training (such as NEVI) and work experience.
- Affinity with technology, such as electrical or electromechanical manufacturing, is a plus.
- Knowledge of the market and suppliers with excellent negotiation skills.
- Ability to clearly communicate supply chain objectives and deliver results.
- Strong teamwork, with the ability to combine strategic thinking with tactical daily work.
- Knowledge of ERP systems; proficiency in SAP is a plus.
- Fluency in English (written and verbal) with Dutch native speaker preferred.
