The (boutique) office in Amsterdam has mainly corporate clients in its portfolio, and the team comprises accounting and legal professionals. We offer a one-stop solution for foreign companies needing administrative and legal support that complies with Dutch regulations.
We stay fully up-to-date with developments in international structures, fiscal regimes, and compliance. We are seeking a full-time Junior Accountant to join our accounting team, working closely with the Senior Accountant. You will maintain financial administration, prepare annual accounts, and support clients with daily activities of their Dutch entities. You will be supervised by the Senior Financial Account Manager / Senior Accountant and work within a team of accountants, lawyers, and support staff.
- Set up and maintain client administrations;
- Liaise with clients on financial matters;
- Prepare statutory annual accounts;
- File accounts with local authorities;
- Prepare periodic reports;
- Assist with daily client activities;
- Prepare and file VAT reports;
- Liaise with auditors and tax advisors.
Qualifications:
- Academic degree in Accountancy, Finance, or Economics;
- 3-4 years relevant experience, preferably in trust, accounting, or financial sectors;
- Basic knowledge of Dutch VAT and Dutch GAAP;
- Experience with IFRS (preferred);
- Fluent in English (oral and written);
- Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and be flexible;
- Responsible with a proactive attitude;
- Accurate with attention to detail.
