Our small Internal Audit team is looking for a new colleague. You work closely with your team members, but you also have your own tasks and responsibilities. The tasks and responsibilities associated with this position include:
- Execute, in accordance with the risk-based internal audit year plan, internal audits that may include system reviews, investigations, agreed upon procedures and risk assessments. 15-35% of the audits are overseas.
- Proactively partner with the business to identify control deficiencies, process improvements and financial issues and propose solutions where applicable.
- Clearly and thoroughly documents all audit work and conclusions via a well-organized set of work papers in compliance with the company standards.
- Report clearly and concisely.
- Monitor audit recommendations and stimulate timely implementation of these recommendations.

Traveling for international audits, approximately 3-4 times a year, isn't an issue for you. You're comfortable working across different cultures, and in this role, you will be collaborating with our international Internal Audit colleagues from Ausnutria China.
- Chartered Accountant (RA).
- At least 5 years work experience in an (internal) audit position.
- Ability to interact with executive management, the Board of Directors, external auditors and regulatory agencies with tact and diplomacy while achieving stated objectives.
- Professional communication and consulting skills (both oral and written) in English and Dutch; on top of that, proficiency in Chinese is a plus.
- A keen interest in cultural differences and a strong desire to foster mutual understanding.
- Experience in a production environment is preferential.
