To support their strategy, they are expanding the team of financial professionals. As Senior Controller, you will be located in Amsterdam overseeing our business in the Netherlands, Switzerland and other European cities.
In this role as Senior Controller, your core focus is to enhance a robust and scalable financial foundation by improving and automating core financial processes while diligently performing controls. Key responsibilities include financial statements, periodic closings, and reporting for all Renewtech integrated entities. You will also be involved in budget and forecasting, reporting to the Group CFO, and acting as a stakeholder for the Group CFO, Accounting, and finance colleagues in Denmark.
This role offers learning opportunities and the chance to shape the position and evolve into a business partner. You will seek improvements, implement new tools, and provide business insights. You will contribute to control team improvement plans, such as shortening the monthly closing process and the integration of tooling. Your contributions will be vital in helping Renewtech achieve its goals. You use your financial insight to realize operational, financial and digital improvements. A broad role involving both finance and business control. In this rapidly growing environment, you will have many opportunities and responsibilities.

Due to Renewtech’s ambitious growth strategy, continuous improvement is the core focus. As the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for improving the current core financial processes and systems.
In this role, potential projects include enhancing the efficiency of month-end closings and conducting various analyses for insights for the MT. This involves gaining insights into cost prices, acquisition costs, and partner up with Operations and Sales. There is a lot of room for initiatives for new projects, regarding improvement of processes, systems and creating valuable insights.

- WO or HBO Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Finance, Accountancy or (Business) Economics
- At least 3-5 years of work experience in Finance (logistics/trading company with complex flow of goods is a plus)
- Experience with integrations is a plus
- Great Excel and PowerPoint skills, Business Central is a plus
- Proactive, have a hands-on mentality and do not hesitate to take ownership
