Cross Border Talents are in search of an Operational Production Planner for one of our clients in the Netherlands.
The company in question is a renowned Dutch agency specialised in the recruitment and relocation of technical specialists for the Netherlands. Some of the names they work with include clients like ASML, VDL, DAF Trucks, Siemens and many more.
Currently, for one of their projects for an international innovation leader in the semiconductor industry, they are looking for an Operational Production Planner.
In this capacity you'll report to the Production Logistics team lead and work closely with specialists in Manufacturing, Supply Chain Management, Warehouse, Material Handling, Material planning, Product Lifecycle Management and Global Logistics Services. You'll represent the Production Logistics department in the lean/progress meetings of all work centres and will work in a two‑shift operation schedule.
Responsibilities- Are responsible for the operational planning, management and adjustment of production activities.
- Control material availability on the basis of the progress of one or more workcentres within the factory.
- Act as a representative for all Production logistics departments in lean/progress meetings of one or more workcentres.
- Manage the logistics processes of the factory by initiating picking requisitions to the warehouse, monitoring the progress and processing the administration.
- Act as trouble‑shooter in the field of logistics in order to avoid disruptions to the production process.
- Analysis and optimisation.
- Contribute to the improvement in material control, material planning and parameters by participating in improvement projects.
- Show initiative and active input in improvement processes to improve delivery performance.
- 1‑5 years of logistics work experience.
- Bachelor in logistics or business studies.
- Ability to take initiative to ensure production progress.
- Proactive person who is able to take responsibility for the tasks of the department.
- Strong communicator with persuasive power.
- Structured, well‑organised team player.
- EU citizenship or eligibility to live and work in the Netherlands.
- Familiarity with SAP ERP.
