Senior Project Manager

If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you as a Senior Project Manager with Bureau Veritas Cybersecurity in our Amsterdam office.

In this role, you will be part of our Cyber Physical Advisory team, working closely with four team leads and our highly skilled security consultants. As a trusted leader, you will ensure seamless delivery of cybersecurity projects, balancing client expectations with technical execution, and guiding teams toward successful outcomes.

Your leadership will shape the success of projects that protect digital and physical systems across industries.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Strategic Project Leadership:Define project scope, objectives, and success criteria in alignment with organizational goals.
• Program Oversight:Manage multiple concurrent projects, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
• Stakeholder Management:Build strong relationships with clients, executives, and internal teams, ensuring clear communication and alignment.
• Resource & Risk Management:Oversee resource allocation, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to safeguard project success.
• Governance & Reporting:Provide status updates, and performance metrics to stakeholders.
• Continuous Improvement:Drive adoption of best practices, methodologies (Agile, Waterfall), and process improvements across the project portfolio.
• Mentorship & Team Development:Guide junior project consultants, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and excellence.

To succeed in this role, you:

• At least a bachelor’s degree in project management, business administration, IT, or cybersecurity.
• Several years of experience in project management, with a proven track record of leading complex, client-facing projects in IT services or cybersecurity.
• Demonstrated expertise in managing large-scale, multi-stakeholder initiatives under tight deadlines.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of influencing at all levels of the organization.
• Proficiency in Dutch and English, with the ability to present confidently to clients and executives.
• Familiarity with project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall) and tools (CRM, PM software).
• Proactive problem-solving mindset, with a strategic, service-oriented approach.
