Senior Marketing Manager

The NL team consists of multifunctional professionals located in the Amsterdam Headquarters of Fastned. We are the market leader in fast-charging in the Netherlands with over 180 locations.

About the role

As Senior Marketing Manager at Fastned Netherlands, you are responsible for making the Fastned brand stand out in the market. You’ll identify and implement what needs to be done to make the Fastned stations the preferred place to charge for EV drivers, including visibility and complementary facilities. You will work closely with your multifunctional team: NL PR manager, European Digital marketing managers, Growth team, Network Development, Public Affairs and with external agencies. Your scope has a mixture of strategic and operational value, including the day-to-day management of all brand-related work in the Dutch market.

Your responsibilities include:

• As Senior Marketing Manager you are the spider in the web of the brand positioning in the Dutch market and therefore the important link between the Global teams and the local teams;
• The EV market is growing fast and we have great momentum to build our brand with new EV drivers and the people that will change in the next few years. Your job is to step in this opportunity and come with ideas on how to build more awareness and attract more consumers;
• Improve our brand recognition and awareness, and drive conversion via our app registrations;
• Analyse market developments to ensure Fastned is strongly positioned in the market, plan accordingly, and evaluate the impact of our efforts in the NL market;
• Improve the quality of our communication and proposition based on local insights and international guidance;
• Monitor and report on results and manage budgets;
• Manage local agency support such as media agencies and brief our in-house creative team;
• Project lead local initiatives to bring them to the Dutch market such as localising global toolboxes and initiating own local initiatives.

Additionally, you bring along the following:

• A genuine affinity for Fastned\'s mission: accelerating the transition to electric mobility;
• 5-8 years of relevant experience in marketing and/or branding;
• (Near-) Native Dutch speaker and professional-level English;
• Analytical skills to analyse data and form into insights;
• Experience working with multifunctional teams, with the ability to make sound commercial and financial decisions, quickly understand problems, propose solutions, and manage stakeholder expectations;
• Ability to inspire, support, and understand the interplay between people and processes.
