About Oliver Green

Oliver Green is a fast-growing healthy fast-casual restaurant with a strong focus on sustainable and fresh food. Our catering activities are expanding rapidly, and from the end of March, we will be moving to a new production kitchen in Amsterdam East. Here, we can further expand and professionalize our catering services.

What you'll be doing

As a Catering Manager, you are responsible for catering at Oliver Green from A to Z. You take the lead in the entire process: from account management and staff planning to operational management and purchasing. You ensure that our customers have a seamless catering experience and that our team performs optimally.

• Planning and managing the catering team
• Responsible for purchasing and inventory management
• Operational management and quality control
• Managing and expanding customer relationships (account management)
• Optimizing processes within the catering department

This is how your day will look like

• Briefing You start the day with a briefing with the team you have scheduled for the preparation of the orders.
• Check in on production You support the team in preparing and packing if needed - and youmake surethey are on schedule. You check the dishes on quality and consistency and help packing before they are sent out on time with the delivery partner.
• Tidy upAfter delivery, you ensure the kitchen is tidy again.
• Contacting new leads While the team is busy with cleaning up, you make sure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes. You check incoming requests, prepare quotes, and contact potential customers to advise them on our catering options.
• Lunch time Your team has ended the shift and you'll prepare yourself a good lunch together.
• Prepare for following orders after lunch it's time to check the calendar and prepare for upcoming catering assignments for the rest of the week. You create briefing documents, add extra staff to the planning for last-minute catering requests and you do the orders.
• Account management You reach out to to new contacts - and reconnect with existing contacts to promote Oliver Green catering

What we are looking for

• You have experience in catering, hospitality, or a similar role.
• You have a hands-on mentality and know how to get things done. You don't mind if you have to support in the kitchen.
• You have excellent organizational and communication skills. You like to multitask and to be the linchpin of the operation.
• You are entrepreneurial and solution-oriented and you thrive on challenges.
• You live in Amsterdam or nearby, making it easy to get to work.
• You're passionate about healthy food and enjoy working in a kitchen environment. You thrive in a dynamic setting where freshness and quality are top priorities.
• You have great communication skills, speak fluent English (Dutch is a plus), and can easily connect with customers in a friendly and personal way.
• You're a team player who is proactive and solution-oriented. You love creating a great experience for guests and working together with colleagues to deliver the best results.
• Prior experience in hospitality or kitchen work is a bonus, but it's not required-your enthusiasm and eagerness to learn are what matter most!
