About your main responsibilitiesAs a Manager Audit FSO, you’ll be part of the Assurance Audit Financial Services team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for:
- Conducting intricate and targeted audit procedures, alongside crafting client-centric audit strategies.
- Guiding and overseeing a team of audit professionals, equipping them with resources, knowledge, and growth opportunities.
- Proactively fostering relationships to deliver customized services, address diverse assurance requirements, and drive business growth.
- Identifying and addressing potential risks, while innovating to enhance products and processes for increased revenue and expansion.
- Staying abreast of business trends and emerging technologies to maintain your trusted role as a business advisor.
Within the FSO Audit department, we focus on providing high-quality audits that serve the public interest and promote trust in business and capital markets. Our auditors use their knowledge, skills, and experience to deliver independent, honest, and objective high-quality audits. No day is the same, and you continuously develop your knowledge, competencies, and analysis skills. We encourage analytical and innovative thinking to help companies operate better. Our clients include listed companies, multinationals, large enterprises, family businesses, governments, and non-profit institutions.
Your officeOur office in The Hague is a stunning historic building that was recently renovated. You’ll find cozy seating areas and functional meeting spaces, all designed for collaboration. Your skills and strengthsYou have:
- Bachelor/Master degree in accounting, finance, or business.
- Minimum of 5 years' auditing experience in an accounting firm, preferably with FSO clients.
- Fluency in English and preferably Dutch.
- Internationally recognized professional accounting qualification (RA, CA, CPA, ACA, ACCA, or equivalent).
- Proficiency in US GAAP and/or IFRS.
You’ll receive:

Our first contact: After your application, our recruiter will call you for a short introduction. We’ll explore whether the role could be a good match.
First interview: Before the interview, we’ll ask you to complete an online assessment. Not a standard questionnaire, but a game-based assessment focusing on both your cognitive skills and behavioral preferences. We’ll discuss the results during the interview, which will include a colleague from the relevant department. This mutual introduction is a chance for us to get to know you, and for you to ask any questions you have.
Second interview: If we see a match and you’re still enthusiastic, we’ll invite you for a second interview. We’ll dive deeper into the role and other relevant topics. Sometimes, a business case is part of the process. A final interview may also follow.
