(Senior) C++ Developer

We are looking for a highly motivated (senior) C++ developer to join our Software Development team.You know about all the features and perks of C++, you enjoy finding the nice solution instead of the dirty hack, you see refactoring code as an opportunity to make it even better, you enjoy educating colleagues with your knowledge, you take pride in testing every single line of code, and your commit messages are as easy to read as a good novel. In other words, you like to do things the right way and enjoy motivating others to do the same.The Software Development team consists of software engineers with a wide variety of competences,such as low-level C++ and C# programming, embedded systems, real-time simulation, render engine development, complex mathematics for surface interaction, automated testing, artistic contentcreation, visual projection systems and many more. We create a lot of new features but also add value integrating third party software and hardware.About you:• you have a higher education degree in informatics, engineering or mathematics.
• you have (extensive) experience programming in modern C++.
• you enjoy staying up to date with the latest developments in C++.
• you are a big proponent of Test Driven Development.
• you have experience with real-time simulation software.
• you are familiar with continuous integration tools such as GitLab.
• you wish to work fulltime.
• you are able to share coding examples with us as part of the application process.
• you’re fluent in English or Dutch.Nice to have:• experience with developing for multiple targets (Windows, Linux, …).
• knowledge about communication protocols like UDP/TCP/MQTT/CAN.
• knowledge about IPG Carmaker, Carsim, Siemens Prescan, ASM.
