As a mechatronics designer you are part of a multi-disciplinary team with a good overview on complex, highly accurate, dynamic systems. These systems can have a broad range, that vary from robotics to high tech systems and machinery. Your role is to assist your team in getting the required performance, by understanding the controls and dynamics of these systems and creating the best solutions. This requires very good analytical skills and a can-do mentality.

You will benefit from a varied and challenging – yet responsible – workload, flanked by professionals of many different disciplines. You are at the heart of the latest developments and continuously work to keep your knowledge and experience up-to-date. In doing so, you help serve our customers, that develop state-of-the-art products that have a profound impact on society and technological progress.

What do we expect from you?

• You have a M.Sc. Or PhD degree in mechanical engineering, dynamics and control or systems and control.
• A proactive team player with good communication skills (English and Dutch).
• Knowledge of and/or experience with the following items are a plus:
  – Precision technology and system dynamics
  – Matlab / Simulink and preferably with ANSYS, dSPACE, or C/C++
  – Machinery and/or robotics
  – Actuated systems and sensors
  – Control (MIMO, robust, feedback, feedforward, ILC, motion)
