The opportunity: Clinical Site Manager Lead
As a Site Manager Lead, you will be responsible for coordinating activities to support health care professionals obtain access to treatments through Expanded Access Programs (EAPs) worldwide. You will be customer oriented, addressing inquiries, concerns, and feedback, and providing tailored solutions where needed. You are an intrinsically motivated individual that wants to understand the greater picture to identify the gaps.
You will be leading a team of 6 site managers, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal procedures, and maintaining high-quality standards and customer satisfaction (hospitals, pharmacies, bio-pharma companies). In this role, you will empower the team to excel driving them towards the company targets, and contribute to the overall success of the organization. You will be collaborating with several departments and will report into the Director of Expanded Access Operations.
What you'll do in this role:
- Leading a team of site managers, providing guidance, mentorship, and support in professional growth.
- Overseeing all site management related activities, including projects aimed at reaching growth objectives.
- Assisting in the launch, onboarding and execution of new EAPs and managing programs on your own.
- Always looking for improvements in streamlining internal processes.
- Taking care of the site onboarding, site management and site offboarding for specific EAPs – handling all site queries.
- Tracking and monitoring defined program reporting metrics.
- Serving as the subject-matter expert both internally and externally regarding EAPs from a physician/site’s perspective.
- Collaborating closely with other departments, e.g. Program Management, Regulatory Affairs and Pharmacovigilance, Quality Assurance, Supply Chain, Real-World Data teams in delivering high quality EAP experience for sites and bio-pharma clients.
What you bring to the table:
- Have an advanced medical or life science degree (MD, PhD, PharmD).
- Have 3+ years of experience in healthcare/life sciences as a clinical site manager, including 2+ years of experience with leading a team.
- Have experience with managing relationships with sites, healthcare professionals, internal and external stakeholders and be the point of contact for customers.
- Are customer oriented, with excellent customer service skills.
- Able to identify bottlenecks and problem solve to find/test alternative routes, working cross-functionally at all levels.
- Are very structured and organized and can monitor multiple things at the same time diligently.
- Have a commercial mindset and do not shy away from company targets.
- Have strong leadership skills and relationship building skills.
- Have a positive, proactive and result-focused mindset.
- Have a hands-on attitude and thrive in a fast-paced environment where change is continuous.
- Hold excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
