As a Category Manager PCB, you will contribute significantly to executing the business strategy:
- Develop and implement sourcing strategies for the assigned PCB categories to support business needs and targets in line with the Global Procurement Strategy.
- Monitor the external market to explore new business models and innovations, identify potential new suppliers, assess sourcing alternatives, and industry best practices, building deep expertise in the scope products and services.
- Engage actively with key stakeholders from different Operating Companies to understand business requirements and incorporate them into supplier selection and decision-making processes.
- Build strong relationships with manufacturers and distributors.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to align technical and commercial requirements, secure total costs, and foster long-term partnerships with key suppliers.
- Develop plans for short-term and long-term supply security.
- Manage supplier performance from a QLTC perspective.
- Lead the team of buyers.
This role offers exposure to high-level business decision-making and the opportunity to work with various stakeholders, including a global procurement team, suppliers, site planners, and senior management. Additionally, you will have the chance to lead global continuous improvement projects.
RequirementsTo qualify for this strategic role, you should have at least 5 years of experience in strategic procurement and category management, with advanced strategic thinking skills and extensive negotiation experience. A strong analytical skill set and a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree related to the industry are also required.
Moreover, you should possess:
- Comprehensive experience working with international sourcing across regions in complex environments.
- Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to build robust internal and external relationships.
- Fluency in English, both verbal and written.
