Interim Finance Professional

We are looking for an Interim Finance Professional for the finance team. As an Interim Finance Professional, you will play an important role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial transactions. Your primary focus will be on the reconciliation of specific general ledger accounts, testing IT solutions, and coordinating actions for outstanding transactions. This role is critical in supporting our transition to a more granular revenue booking method and ensuring a seamless process for our finance and back-office teams. Note: This is an interim position, to be filled on the 15th of September.

• Complete reconciliation of a specific general ledger account where AFS Energy's revenue and invoice flows converge. A weekly/monthly recurring connection must be set up for this.
• Test the IT solution currently being developed in our traders' system to account for the outstanding balance on the general ledger account and coordinate actions for outstanding transactions.
• Coordinating actions to be taken and transactions yet to be recorded (read exchange rate differences, missing invoices, other differences) on the above general ledger account.
• 'Split' the turnover of already closed months 2024 into top-line turnover and purchasing value turnover. To date, the gross margin has always been booked. Given that the months have been closed, this should have zero P&L impact.
• In addition to the above, we now also want to book turnover at transaction level instead of per commodity, which will result in a lot more bookings. Experience with uploading accounting rules is therefore very desirable.
• The above changes require a different method for booking turnover going forward. This must be an efficient process.

• 5-10 years of relevant work experience in the finance field.
• Extensive experience with Exact Globe (not Exact Online) is highly desirable. The ability to quickly master Exact Globe is essential.
• Proven experience with uploading financial transactions in Exact Globe via imports.
• Strong analytical skills and accuracy.
• High level of digital literacy and capable of learning new systems quickly.
• Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively.
• Self-learning and organized approach to work.
• Dutch and English speaking is preferred.
