Job description
As an AI Solution Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and functionality of our computer boards and systems.
You will be involved in the assembly, testing, and maintenance of these products, as well as the installation and testing of software components.
This position is ideal for someone with a passion for AI and a strong foundation in hardware and software integration.
Job location
The location of the position is on-site at the headquarters of Axelera AI in Eindhoven, Netherlands.
Responsibilities:
- Support the lab technical activities of boards and systems setup and testing.
- Execute tasks from product’s test plans, consolidate and report the results.
- Assembly and test boards and systems for multiple purposes.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to troubleshoot and resolve assembly related issues.
- Collaborate with software team to integrate AI solution platform in computer boards and systems.
- Maintain the products stock and perform regular maintenance and updates on computer boards and systems to ensure long-term functionality.
- Identify and rectify hardware and software issues to minimize downtime and improve product performance.
- Install and configure software, particularly on Linux-based systems.
- Test software components using Python and other relevant tools, ensuring compatibility and performance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of computer hardware and software integration.
- Experience with Linux operating systems and knowledge of Python and bash programming.
- Knowledge of computer systems and embedded Linux distributions.
- Experience with Docker and container environments.
- Familiarity with AI and machine learning concepts.
- Familiarity with Computer Vision and Video Analysis concepts.
- Experience with hardware testing tools and methodologies.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to learning and development.
- Dutch language skills highly preferred.
