We are looking for a Business Controller to support our Finance & Control Department at ATG Europe HQ in Noordwijk, The Netherlands.
Please note, the successful candidate will be employed by ATG Europe (or one of its subsidiaries). Furthermore, upon selection, they will be subject to a general security screening performed by an external provider (further information will be provided at interview stage).
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Economics or Accountancy
- At least 3 years of relevant financial work experience
- Hands‑on mentality, flexible and a real team player
- Digitally proficient, experience with IT systems and data analytics
- Analytical, numerical and communicative strong
- Solution and result oriented
- Good at planning, organizing and collaborating
- Candidates must be eligible to live and work in the EU
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken
- Fluency in Dutch, both written and spoken

Responsibilities
- Manage all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL, Cost Accounting, Fixed assets Accounting and Revenue Recognition using the visma.net financial and project accounting system
- Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances to the CFO
- Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting
- Where applicable, coordinates the monthly revenue and accordingly entering into visma.net financials
- Prepare timely monthly financial statements, headcount overviews and other reports important to the ATG operations
- Supports month-end and year-end close process
- Ensures quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting
- Assist the CFO to manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings
- Assist the CFO in improving operational and control processes; assist in compliance audits and monitoring internal controls to ensure a smooth financial operations
- Deal with cash flow on a day‑to‑day basis; makes sure the invoicing process is performed in a timely manner and debtor positions are at an adequate level
