Senior Financial Controller

As a Senior Financial Controller, you will work closely with the CFO and another Senior Financial Controller at Convious, an organization that enhances visitor experiences in the leisure industry, such as Tripsdrill and Ouwehands Dierenpark. You enjoy tightening, improving, and automating the financial basics, with the opportunity to grow into more FP&A work over time. Also, you will be handling solid accounting and delivering reliable actuals in compliance with Dutch GAAP. Your responsibilities will include handling daily accounting tasks, preparing monthly reports, and providing analysis as input for forecasting and budgeting.

• Daily accounting: Ensuring accurate processing of all financial transactions;
• Periodic closings: Responsible for monthly, quarterly, and yearly closings and financial reports;
• Internal control: Setting up, improving/automating, and monitoring internal processes;
• Budget & forecasting: Providing input for budgets and forecasts;
• Analysis: Conducting analyses to support Business Control advice.

• Education: A completed Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance & Control or Accountancy;
• Experience: At least 5 years of relevant experience in financial accounting/control or Audit, expert-level Excel skills, knowledge of Dutch GAAP and an affinity for process improvement;
• Personality: Proactive, assertive, self-starter, and a real team player;
• Language skills: Excellent command of English, both written and spoken (Dutch is a plus).

• Salary: Up to €75,000 per year (based on 40 hours including holiday allowance);
• Holidays: Unlimited (!!) vacation days;
