Vacaturebeschrijving

MongoDB’s mission is to empower innovators to create, transform, and disrupt industries by unleashing the power of software and data. We enable organizations of all sizes to easily build, scale, and run modern applications by helping them modernize legacy workloads, embrace innovation, and unleash AI. Our industry-leading developer data platform, MongoDB Atlas, is the only globally distributed, multi-cloud database and is available in more than 115 regions across AWS, Google Cloud, and Microsoft Azure. Atlas allows customers to build anywhere—on the edge, on premises, or across cloud providers. With offices worldwide and over 175,000 developers joining MongoDB every month, it’s no wonder that leading organizations, like Samsung and Toyota, trust MongoDB to build next-generation, AI-powered applications.

As Web Analytics Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to analyze and optimize our web traffic and content performance. With a deep understanding of how content influences customer behavior, you'll provide actionable insights that drive our content strategy, enhance user experience, and ultimately improve customer outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive web and content analytics strategy that aligns with business goals and objectives.
  • Analyze website performance, content effectiveness, and user engagement metrics using tools such as Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, and other relevant platforms.
  • Measure and evaluate how different types of content influence customer behavior and outcomes. Provide insights into content performance and its impact on lead generation, conversion rates, and customer retention.
  • Create and present detailed reports and dashboards that highlight key performance indicators (KPIs), trends, and actionable insights. Communicate findings to stakeholders and recommend strategies for optimization.
  • Design and execute A/B tests and other experiments to determine the effectiveness of content and web design changes. Use results to drive continuous improvement.
  • Work closely with the content, marketing, and web development teams to ensure that analytics insights are integrated into content creation and web optimization efforts.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in web and content analytics. Recommend and implement new tools and techniques to enhance analytics capabilities.
  • Grow your team of analysts in both scope of work and level of influence.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in web analytics, content analytics, or a related field with at least 1 year experience managing a team (B2B environment preferred).
  • Proficiency with SQL, web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics), content management systems (CMS), and A/B testing platforms (Optimizely/Intellimize). Strong understanding of SEO/SEM best practices.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights. Experience in measuring content performance and its impact on customer behavior.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing issues.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Analytics, Data Science, or a related field. Advanced degree or certifications in analytics is a plus.
