To ensure our guests have the best kick-start of the day, we are looking for you to make that happen! As our Chef de Partie, you will be responsible for the complete breakfast service within the hotel. Our breakfast service ranges from room service to buffet service. In this role, you will report to the Assistant Food & Beverage Manager, and you will have the space to implement your creativity and ideas! Fulltime or parttime is both possible.
This is what you're going to do
- Responsible for breakfast in a la carte, take away, room service and buffet form;
- Provide lunch and breaks for our banqueting parties;
- Provide meals for our team members;
- Contributing to new recipes and offerings;
- Managing orders;
- Monitoring stock according to the FIFO method and HACCP;
- Occasionally jumping in when needed for lunch or other parties.
*please note that restaurant MOMO, located in our building, is not part of Park Centraal Amsterdam’s F&B department and therefore has its own, separate, kitchen team.

To succeed in this role, we believe that you should be a beginning cook with 0-2 years of experience as a F&B professional or in a similar role. You are a hands-on professional and can ensure proper work standards, productivity and practices. You naturally motivate your fellow team members and are an early riser each morning. It goes without saying that you are a natural leader, with good communication skills and know how to connect with different people and cultures. You are able to set up clear procedures and capable of operating independently and solving problems creatively. You are available at least on 3 days between Friday-Monday. Shifts from 06:00-12:00 are also possible.
