Security Engineer (F5)

We are looking for a skilled and experienced F5 Security Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing security projects based on F5 technology, ensuring robust security configurations, and optimizing application performance. This position requires expertise in F5 technologies, including scripting, load balancing, and Web Application Firewalls (WAFs). Responsibilities:

1. Implementation of F5 Security Solutions: Deploy and configure F5 security technologies, including Local Traffic Manager (LTM), Application Security Manager (ASM), Access Policy Manager (APM), and DNS solutions.
2. Load Balancing & Traffic Management: Optimize application performance and availability through advanced load balancing techniques.
3. Scripting & Automation: Develop and maintain I-Rule coding and automation scripts to enhance security and functionality.
4. Security Audits & Assessments: Conduct security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and ensure compliance with security policies.
5. Identity & Access Management (IAM): Implement and manage IAM solutions to enhance access security and control.
6. Integration with Network Services: Work with applications such as DHCP, AAA, and DNS to ensure seamless integration with F5 solutions.
7. Continuous Monitoring & Optimization: Stay updated on the latest security threats and F5 technologies to enhance system performance and security.

Qualifications:

1. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
2. Experience: Medior-level experience in network security, with a focus on F5 technologies.

Technical Skills:

1. Expertise in F5 technologies, including LTM, ASM, APM, and DNS.
2. Proficiency in I-Rule scripting and automation.
3. Strong knowledge of security protocols and best practices.
4. Familiarity with networking principles, including TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP.
5. Experience with security audits and assessments.
6. Identity and Access Management (IAM) implementation experience.

Certifications (Nice to Have):

1. F5 CSE Cloud 402
2. F5 CSE Security 401
3. F5 LTM, ASM, APM, DNS
4. CISSP

Soft Skills:

1. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
2. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
3. Ability to work well in a team and collaborate effectively.
4. A strong desire to enhance knowledge and expertise in F5 security technologies and network security.
5. Language: Dutch-speaking candidates preferred.
