Senior IT Auditor

We are looking for a Senior IT Auditor. In this role, you will supervise your audit team and perform IT audits, maturity measurements and risk assessments based on various security standards and frameworks. You will work with your team on multiple assignments at different (inter)national clients. Since we are part of the international company Bureau Veritas you can orient yourself internally and with our customers internationally.

As Senior IT Auditor you assess the client independently and objectively with focus on organization, process, people, in combination with technology.

• Manage and perform IT audits in the field of information security and compliance in sub areas such as SOC2, cloud security, Cybersecurity Governance and privacy;
• Building a team of professionals where coaching and mentoring your staff is an important part of the job;
• Performing and documenting audits according to required audit standards;
• Running the audit process efficiently in accordance with the agreements you have made with the client; You are in the lead;
• Collaborate with other specialists during the conduct of the audits to achieve the intended quality of the investigations;
• Contribute to the further development of our services, expanding audit services in other markets, as well as development of tooling, internal process improvement, templates and the use of (new) standards.

• A completed postmaster RE or similar;
• Demonstrated experience with more complex IT auditsacross multiple industries;
• Experiencesupervising a (small) audit team;
• Experience in performing maturity measurement, risk analysis and assessment of information security risk management processes ;
• Experience with frameworks such as ISO27k, NIST CSF and similar;
• You preferably possess or are willing to obtain certifications such as: ISO 27001, CISA (ISACA), CISSP (ISC), CCSP (ISC) or CISM (ISACA).

As a Senior IT Auditor, you take the lead during client audits. You are as comfortable talking to the CIO as you are talking to a network administrator, and you have experience in clearly reporting your audit findings and presenting reports and investigation results to client management. You have knowledge of the important frameworks and standards in the field of risk management and information security and you know how to use them when assessing the security measures implemented by customers.
