Role descriptionAs a Lab Technician (Sample Management), you will play a key role in supporting Quality Control operations by managing samples with precision and compliance. This position requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a high‑paced environment. You will work in shifts and ensure adherence to GxP standards and safety regulations.
Key responsibilities- Maintain housekeeping and 5S standards in QC sample management areas.
- Manage Kanban areas and follow effective procedures at all times.
- Complete mandatory GxPLearn and Glearn training promptly.
- Escalate deviations and non‑conformities.
- Execute small improvement projects.
- Receive and distribute QC samples and EM plates.
- Transfer samples between -80°C and LN2 storage.
- Perform Aph accession and dispose of samples according to procedures.
- Support other QC teams when required.
- Additional duties as assigned.
- Secondary Laboratory Education (MLO level 3/4 or equivalent).
- Hands‑on mentality and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
- Basic laboratory techniques; QC experience preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong verbal communication and English reading skills.
- Knowledge of GMP, GDP, and SOPs.
- Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, evenings, and bank holidays.
- Car driver preferred due to shift times (availability from 07:00 until midnight).
