Quality Control Engineer - Medior

As a Quality Engineer at ISISPACE, you play a key role in ensuring that every component, subsystem and final product meets the high internal and external quality standards required for satellite missions. Our satellites are used worldwide by government agencies, research institutes, universities and commercial customers — making your contribution essential to mission success.

In this role, you will be responsible for performing incoming inspections, assessing subsystem quality, maintaining quality documentation and driving continuous improvement across the production process. You work closely with engineers, logistics and suppliers to verify that all purchased goods, concepts and integrated subsystems satisfy the requirements defined for each mission.

Your daily work includes assessing delivered goods, supporting engineers during testing, reviewing and releasing subsystems, and preparing high-quality reports for internal and external stakeholders. You will also help keep internal norms and quality criteria up to date, ensuring full alignment with relevant industry standards such as ECSS, IPC and NEN.

• Communication: Effective communication with engineers, suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Integrity: Acting in line with professional, ethical and organisational standards.
• Quality awareness: Identifying issues early, understanding standards and driving improvements.
• Decision-making: Providing clear judgments and taking action where required.
• 3–6 years of relevant experience in a (complex) technological environment.
• Experience providing feedback to engineers, logistics and suppliers.
• Experience training or guiding new colleagues is a plus.
• IPC certification preferred.
