As a Business Continuity Manager, you ensure that the systems we manage remain available and resilient—even when the unexpected happens. You are responsible for maintaining and continuously improving our Business Continuity Management System (BCMS) in accordance with ISO 22301, performing BIAs, defining RTO/RPO targets, and testing them. You translate formal and client requirements into practical measures and guarantee that the environments we manage—on-prem, private or public cloud, or hybrid—are available when needed. Your work makes a difference in a context where downtime is not an option.

You don’t do this alone—you collaborate with various expert teams, management, and client teams to deliver solutions that demonstrably meet requirements. What does this look like in practice?

Manage the BCMS: Keep it up to date in line with ISO 22301 and adapt to new client and framework requirements

Perform Business Impact Analyses: Define RTO/RPO targets, develop recovery strategies, and organize DR tests to demonstrate resilience

Monitor availability and capacity: Track trends, analyze risks, and proactively manage performance across on-prem, private cloud, and Azure/AWS environments—demonstrated during ISO 20000/27001/9001 audits

3+ years of experience in BCM and Availability/Capacity Management within a mission-critical context

Knowledge of and experience with relevant frameworks such as ISO20000, ISO 22301, ISO27001, and SOC2

Experience with BIA, DR tests, and crisis management

Strong communication skills in Dutch and English
