For the Axle and Transmission group, part of global powertrain product development, we are seeking an engineering supervisor. You will also be tasked with organizing the group and ensuring they have all the necessary resources and support to collectively work towards achieving the desired end result.
Since the group is expanding, one of your responsibilities will be to support this task by carefully selecting the most suitable individuals, providing them with assistance based on your expertise, and actively contributing to their ongoing development.
Finally, you will be operating within the domain of e-mobility. Additionally, you will also be responsible for ensuring that conventional products meet the new product requirements.
As the Engineering Supervisor for Driveline & Axles, you will have the following responsibilities:
- Leading, coaching, and motivating a team of approximately 12-15 engineers in the field of transmission and axle development.
- Ensuring efficient utilization of available engineers and project budgets in collaboration with various project managers.
- Providing input for planning and budgeting, and monitoring the realization in terms of technology, timing, and budget.
- Responsible for achieving the specified requirements in terms of functionality, lifespan, reliability, manufacturability, and serviceability of released parts and systems.
- Initiating and monitoring risk reduction plans, as well as managing and monitoring supplier developments for systems developed by suppliers.
- Building, securing, and managing specific development knowledge within the field. The increasing electrification of our vehicles will impact the structure and position of this group of engineers.
In the position of Engineering Supervisor Axles and Transmissions, you are part of the Global Powertrain Development team and will report to the Engineering Manager Axles and Transmissions.
