Senior Consultant Data Engineering

As a Senior Consultant Data Engineering, you will guide clients in building reliable, scalable data pipelines and production-ready environments. You will combine technical expertise with strategic consulting to help organizations make data work—efficiently and effectively.

Furthermore;

• Lead data engineering projects: steer multi-disciplinary consultancy projects, managing client expectations and delivering high-quality solutions in complex environments.
• Act as a thought leader: continuously develop your expertise in a rapidly evolving technology and business landscape, contributing to internal and external thought leadership.
• Manage and coach teams: support the development of team members, facilitate knowledge sharing, and act as a role model in proposition development and creative problem-solving.
• Engage in technical delivery: apply hands‑on experience in Python, SQL, GIT, and/or reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau), with exposure to both front‑end and back‑end development.
• Support client development: as an expert, support our efforts in helping clients with solutions that best fit their specific situations and needs. Your guidance shapes the projects of the future, enabling our team to create winning proposals.

• A relevant and completed Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Business Analytics, or a related field.
• 6–8 years of experience in data engineering or software engineering, preferably in a consulting environment.
• Strong technical proficiency in Python, SQL, GIT; experience with reporting tools and full‑stack development is a plus.
• Deep understanding of Agile methodologies, CI/CD principles, and solution lifecycle management.
• Certifications in cloud technologies (Azure, AWS), or data platforms like Databricks and Snowflake are a plus.
• Proven project management skills and a can‑do, independent work attitude.
• Good communication and presentation skills in both Dutch and English.
