Specialist Engineer - datacenter projects

Are you an expert in electrical engineering, project management, or systems commissioning? At Siemens in The Hague/Zoetermeer, we\'re looking for passionate professionals to work on the latest datacenter projects in the Netherlands and abroad. As part of our Smart Infrastructure team, you\'ll play a crucial role in designing and implementing the energy infrastructure for the data centers of tomorrow.

We are seeking professionals for several key roles:

• Design Engineer: As an expert in BIM, Busbar, Medium/Low Voltage, or E-House design, you will engineer robust and highly efficient electrical systems.
• Lead Electrical Engineer: You will be the technical leader for complex design projects, guiding a team of specialists.
• Project Manager: You will oversee the entire project from start to finish, managing processes and coordinating with clients. A technical background in electrical or mechanical engineering is a strict requirement, as is experience with Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) at manufacturing sites.
• Commissioning Engineer / Site Supervisor/Manager: You will be the driving force on-site, ensuring all systems are installed, tested, and commissioned correctly.

In all these roles, you will work daily with the latest technologies in power distribution, switchgear, transformer, busbar, and medium/low voltage (no high voltage) systems.

• A degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Relevant work experience in the datacenter, energy, or industrial sector.
• In-depth knowledge of electrical systems and power distribution.
• Willingness to travel for international projects and visits to manufacturers.
• For the Project Manager role, experience with EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) and Claim Management is a significant plus.

• You are a highly motivated professional who works with precision and attention to detail.
• You are a true team player with excellent communication skills.
• You speak fluent English (and Dutch is a pre)

Primary Employment Conditions: Full-time, 40 hours per week.

• Salary: A competitive monthly salary based on your experience.
• ADV Compensation: 5% allowance.
• Holiday Allowance: 8.33%.
• 13th Month Salary: Yes.

Contract Type:

• A one-year contract through Yacht, with the possibility of a direct takeover by Siemens or an extension of your contract with Yacht.
• You will always receive 100% of your salary throughout your employment at Yacht.
