E-Plan Engineer

Are you a skilled E-plan Engineer with a technical background, eager to connect different departments? A dynamic company near Rotterdam is seeking an E-plan Engineer Control Systems. In this coordinating role, you’ll work with project managers, production, service, and engineering to design and develop electrical schematics for control systems like bow thrusters, azimuth thrusters, and generator sets. In this challenging role, you will design complete electrical schematics and provide technical documentation, panel layouts, cable schematics, and bills of materials for production. Additionally, you will work on technical designs for main power and control systems, and perform revision work (as built and as commissioned). You will not only safeguard the quality and progress of your own projects, but also keep standards up to date and optimize drawing tools where needed.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Translating customer specifications into functional designs.
• Preparing and maintaining electrical schematics, panel layouts, bills of materials, and cable schematics using E-plan.
• Performing revision tasks and ensuring the quality of projects.
• Supporting the testing and commissioning of electrical installations.
• Advising customers on technical issues and providing solutions to problems.

We are looking for a technically skilled professional with a broad interest in engineering who enjoys translating technical concepts into clear and organized schematics. You have strong analytical skills and are always thinking one step ahead. Additionally, you possess good communication and organizational skills, enabling you to seamlessly coordinate between different departments. Furthermore you meet the following requirements:

• A completed technical education, preferably in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or Engineering.
• Proficiency in E-plan, AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and relevant electrical standards.
• Coordination skills and the ability to manage projects independently.
• Strong English communication skills, both spoken and written
